CoNISMa’s activities focus on hydrothermalism, marine mineral resources and recovery of degraded marine-coastal areas, dealing respectively with:
- contributing to the knowledge of the characteristics of submarine hydrothermal systems;
- carrying out transplantation interventions of Posidonia oceanica in suitable areas using a patented bioplastic material support and evaluating the recovery of the ecosystems interested by the environmental restoration activities.
