Institute of Biosciences and BioResources
The commitment of CNR-IBBR will focus on two activities:
- storage of viable seeds under controlled conditions. To ensure the availability of seeds for replanting even in low production years, long-term seed conservation protocols will be developed;
- analysis of the molecular response to environmental contaminants. The physiological and molecular response of plants to contaminants will be studied, focusing on differentially expressed genes.
