1) Development of new sensors and integrated approaches to marine-coastal Remote Sensing (Integrated observation of the sea)
- tracking of marine traffic acoustic sources ;
- marine fauna monitoring ;
- water quality ;
- acoustic pollution and effects on the ecosystem ;
- acquisition of parameters geophysicists with integrated OBS system (Ocean Bottom Seismometer).
2) Develop a new integrated observation platform for the continuous and real-time monitoring of the marine-coastal system
- Use of the LNS-INFN infrastructure of the IDMAR project in Portopalo di Capo Passero.
