ENEA, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy, and Sustainable Economic Development, participates in all 4 Marine Hazard research areas. ENEA contributes to Marine Hazard through sediments’ chemical analyses, modelling studies on the ocean circulation, in situ and remote sensing ocean observations. ENEA coordinates integrated observation of the sea research, which is dedicated at the development of a Remote Sensing Laboratory which integrates ground-based and satellite observations to improve knowledge of the Mediterranean.
